Paige Bellerby
Paige's first taste for Motorsport came when she was just four years old when she got her first 50cc Quad bike. After getting the hang of the Quad straight away, just 6 months later she upgraded to an 80cc version.
Within a couple more years Paige was given a 'field' car to drive around the farm where she lives but was restricted to using no more than 2nd gear, from here she never looked back.
Along came more field cars, more quad bikes and a passion for watching her Dad (Dave Bellerby) compete in the MSA BRC. Dave went on to win multiple Supermodified BRC titles and has proved time and again he is the master of the two-wheel drive category.
Dad suggested to Paige at just 11 years old that she should try competing in Junior Grass Track, jumping at the chance she tried a few meetings but didn't really find it her 'thing', also having a dabble with Go-karting she soon realised her passion was with the sport she had been a part of from as far back as she can remember.
Paige turned 14 years old in December 2009 which qualified her to take part in the BTRDA Junior Rallycross Championship. Dad had already acquired the ex-Joe Cunningham Austin Mini which he used to launch his Motorsport career back in 2006.
After a couple of cancelled winter Rallycross meetings Paige was very frustrated and very keen to give the sport a try. March 3rd 2009 saw Paige's Rallycross career make an instant mark on the Rallycross stage by proving she was able to keep up with 2009 overall Junior Champ, Brad Bailey.
Paige has since competed in all subsequent 2010 BTRDA championship rounds and is the youngest lady driver (aged 14) to claim the championship title.
She intends to return in 2011 in the all new 'Swift Sport Junior Rallycross' category.
Paige Bellerby: "I have wanted to compete in Rallycross as far back as I can remember. I would love to follow in Dads footsteps and be as successful as him. I am having a great time out on the track and even find it cool to help prepare the car when it is back in the workshop"
