As well as thrilling the crowds by performing his usual routine at the event, Swift, who stars in many television adverts and at shows worldwide, will also be in action on track when he contests the Swift Rallycross Cup whereby he'll take on local stars such as double Suzuki Swift Champion Dave Bellerby and leading front-runner Jonny Bean. Both Northallerton drivers have been at the cutting edge all year and with 23 cars set to contest the Suzuki Swift classes, the action is sure to be frantic.

Dave Bellerby's car is currently on display at Sims Suzuki in Darlington whereby the longest established Suzuki Dealer in the North East has added their support to the event. They will be attending Croft over the weekend to answer any questions on sales, after sales, parts, and any issues on all motoring requirements.

Bellerby's eldest daughter, Paige, will also be in action in the Swift Junior Rallycross class at Croft and as part of the campaign to encourage more females into motorsport, the 15-year-old Northallerton College student will be exhibiting her car and handing out promotional material in Northallerton High Street this forthcoming Saturday (22nd October) and the following Wednesday (26th October) too. In addition, Paige will also be handing out fliers to win family tickets for the Croft event.

The latest initiatives follow on from the recent announcement of television coverage on Channel 4 and confirmation of the classes eligible to contest both the MSA British Rallycross Grand Prix and Saturday's final round of the Quaife MSA British Rallycross Championship which will feature satellite coverage on Motors TV as normal.

Regulations and further details are available at www.rallycrossuk.com and entry forms are available at http://www.rallycrossuk.com/documents/entry/round8.pdf. Entries are still available but all classes are filling up so any remaining competitors who intend entering are advised to submit their entries as soon as possible.

Adult ticket prices are £8 on the Saturday and £15 on the Sunday or £18 for a weekend ticket. Advance tickets are available until October 28th and more information can be found at www.croftcircuit.co.uk
