The mad-cap world of British Rallycross is back for another season of sideways action as the championship continues its rapid mainstream resurrection. If ex-WRC post steroid addiction machinery is your kind of thing then listen up because these 500+bhp monsters are about as exciting as motorsport gets. The short, sharp races see no more than eight cars lining up in what becomes a panel-bashing dash to the scene of an impending accident as drivers attempt to re-work the laws of physics in their attempts to squeeze three – sometimes four – abreast through the first corner. For the rose tinted spectacle wearers amongst you, there’s also the chance to see some of the Group B era’s finest teaching the whippersnappers a thing or two about four-wheel drift thanks to the still-competitive Metro 6R4 and Ford RS200 contingent.
